My Girlfriend’s Canon PowerShot S500, 2005

Ok so this wasn’t my camera. It isn’t even my photo. My girlfriend shot this of herself with the aid of the self-timer and a flat rock. We were in Provence on our first real vacation together. She managed to find a gîte, a country rental cottage, on a sheep farm perched over a small valley. Each morning we’d get up to see newborn lambs tottering around their mothers in the barn, and we’d watch the mist rise to reveal an extraordinary landscape.
