I enjoy setting creative challenges for myself. So when Pilar and Gabe agreed to sit for me, I chose to use a Hasselblad. It's a beautiful camera that presented several obstacles. First, it's a square format rather than the traditional rectangle of a DSLR. Second, the camera has no prism in the viewfinder so the image you'll see is upside down and reversed. Third, it's film so I knew I'd be shooting a lot less and I'd have no way to double-check as I went along.
I should also add that it was bitterly, freezing cold.
Pilar & Gabe were not only good sports throughout the whole session, but I think we got some great pictures to boot.
