Melissa andDexter were married at Riverdale’s scenic Wave Hill on September 21st. The 33-acre garden provided a lush backdrop to this classic black tie affair.

During the portrait session, the couple was able to roam the grounds through pergolas, lily ponds, and greenhouses, and the weather held out just long enough for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony overlooking the Hudson River and the Palisades beyond. Carissa Templeton officiated a simple, touching service.

The reception was held in nearby Armor Hall, former home to what is now the Metropolitan Museum’s Arms & Armor exhibit. Guests were greeted by gorgeous escort table centerpiece designed by Sarah Brysk Cohen of Blossom and Branch. Ana Dolan of Invitations by Ana created the whimsical escort cards, each cut into the shape of a butterfly. She also made the round menus to fit the couple's purple chargers, and the "grass" table numbers.

Great Performances provided a sumptuous meal, and the couple and their guests rocked out on the dance floor into the wee hours thanks to Generation Events. All in all an awesome party.
